the dangers of using abrasive wheels

The Safety, Health & Welfare at Work (General Applications), Regulations 2016 state that an employer shall not authorise an employee to operate Abrasive Wheels unless that employee has been trained and instructed in accordance with Schedule 14, and is competent to mount the wheel.

This course is designed to instruct employees in the theory and practice of safe use of Abrasive Wheels to comply with the “Abrasive Wheels Regulations 1982” (SI 30 / 1982) / Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) (Amendment) Regulations 2016 (S.I. No. 36 of 2016).
